My Master of Professional Research Studies (MEPs) Cheat Sheet.

Working on my Masters over the past two years, I have written extensively in my research journal. I will be sharing a dedicated post on that soon, as it has genuinely been the most valuable tool in my rotation throughout this degree.

This prompted me to reflect on my experience and consider what it might look like to condense the lessons I learned, along with the feedback I received, into one practical overview or “cheat sheet”.

I spent time reflecting on my journey and have put this resource together with that intention in mind. While it reflects my personal experience and is not intended to represent a single or definitive way of completing a MEPS, these are strategies and insights that supported me throughout the process.

I have always valued well designed resources, and I particularly enjoy creating them for others. This resource is shared in the spirit of collegiality and transparency, for anyone navigating an academic research journey, and especially for fellow Griffith University students who may appreciate reflections from someone undertaking the process alongside them.
