This end-of-term activity rotation resource is designed for upper Junior Secondary Visual Arts classes, particularly Year 9.

The resource includes 7 rotation stations, with each station designed to take approximately 20 minutes. Students rotate through the stations in their table groups and complete each activity in their visual journal. Each activity should be labelled clearly in their journal using the station title as the heading.

Because this group uses visual journals, all activities are designed to be glued, drawn, written, or created directly into their journals. I recommend placing a teacher model/example at each station so students can clearly see what they are working towards.

If students finish before the timer, they can return to any unfinished station work in their journal. This helps keep students focused and gives them time to refine or complete previous activities.

You will need:

Collage materials, coloured and textured paper, paddle pop sticks, Posca pens, templates, coloured pencils, textas, and black fine liners.

Please note: the Andy Warhol worksheet was created using AI.
